Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add frozen pierogies and stir with a wooden spoon occasionally to keep pierogies from sticking to bottom of pot. When pierogies float to the top, continue cooking for an additional 4-6 minutes depending on the tenderness you desire. Remove pierogies from pot with spoon or hand strainer and lay on flat surface to dry for 15-20 seconds.
Place in pan to sauté with butter and onions if you chose, and flip periodically until golden brown on each side. ** Pierogies can be deep fried as well. Once pierogies are boiled, place on flat surface to dry for 15-20 seconds then place pierogies in deep fryer until golden brown.. ENJOY!!
